I taught the kids:
  • The importance of having a community in the workplace
  • Why Google's employees are the best in the world
  • How google's employee treatment got it to the top
  • How it's like to work at Google
  • The importance of priorities when working
  • Maintaining a reputation of gettting work done

I also got to show them some of the memoribilia at the office! Really fun group, but kindof slow at walking! Awesome day to say the least

I am Brian Fitzpatrick, the leader of Google's Data Libertaion Front. I lead Google's Transparency engine, and used to work at onShore, Apple, and Collabnet. Some people say I'm cool but I prefer the term "awesome". I used to live in Rome, and grew up in New Orleans. I graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a major in Latin (eho!), a minor in Greek, and a equiv. major in Fine Arts.

Chris Dalloul

Christopher Dalloul is going into 11th grade in Terre Haute, Indiana. He enjoys his free time on computers. He prefers to stay quiet and to himself, but not to Ethan's level. He has 3 siblings, 2 brothers and one sister, and plays the piano and violin. Chris participates in swimming and enjoys playing tennis. He was told to write filler text here to seem important, and here it is.

Ethan Niu is going into his junior year in high school. He has programming knowledge in Java and TI-Basic. Ethan worked with Chris together to make this website as a thank you to Brian Fitzpatrick, who gave them a tour of the Google office in Chicago.
